ESFP (Extrovert, Sensing, Feeling, Perceiving)

Well I am back to that feeling of what the heck to do with my life. Yeah, I've had this nagging feeling since like 2000 that I want to do something else. Of course it's now been 4 years and I still have no clue. I also tend to be interested in way too many thing to make a freakin' decision as to which would be something I should pursue. Being me, I have to make the "perfect" decision, so I never end up doing any of them, because I want to know the outcome before I take the risk. Exciting person, eh?

I'm not really sure what I want out of life. Wasn't this supposed to be easy, just follow your passion? If only I could figure out what that was. Yeah I love cars, but I also love photography, nature, animals, philosophy, computers, art, business. Ok well maybe I don't love all those, but they do interest me. I have to come a theory that what ever is holding me back from making this decision is also what is holding me back from ever getting healthy.

I always remember that line in Charlie Brown Christmas. Lucy is running her little Psychiatric booth, and she's asking Charlie Brown, what his deal is. She proceeds to ask him if he's afraid of heights, bridges, stairs and a myriad of other things. He keeps saying no. Then she says, well maybe Charlie Brown your afraid of everything and he yells out Yes, which he has Pantaphobia (yeah I've watched it a few too many times).

I guess it comes down to have I have really no confidence in my skills, or at least my ability to make successful decisions. I can't remember now what set me up for this total fear of making a wrong decision thing, but now I can't figure out how to go back.

So all this culminated in me taking a Myers-Brigg personality test, and coming out as a ESFP.

These two sites had great definitions of ESFPs.

Do I have any clue more of what I should do with my life, nope not yet. Although I'm getting a better idea of who I am.

Tell me what you think, do you think Myers Brigg has figured out my personality or are they way off. Well I gotta get some sleep.
